Drupal Media Upgrade
As part of regular Drupal updates, tools for uploading and placing multimedia (images, documents) was upgraded today. While the functionality will remain the same, content managers will see small differences, primarily:
After clicking the music/image (media browser) icon, you'll see:
You can upload media items or scroll down to see previously uploaded media. After selecting a media item and clicking Insert selected, you'll see:
Within the text editor, you can add a caption, link, and alt text. You can also select the image size and alignment. Note that previously embedded items inserted with the legacy embed "E" option will no longer be editable in the rich text editor. To make changes to these items, users will need to re-embed these media items using the new tool as noted above.
