Baylor's Drupal environment is designed to support a wide range of image sizes and formats.
Tools
Resizing images is easy! Baylor Faculty & Staff can use Photoshop through the Creative Cloud license. Alternately, you can use Adobe Express to resize images online.

Image Formats
| Image Format | Suggested Uses | Notes |

| JPG | Photography | Most .jpg images can be compressed to 50-70 depending on the composition of the image. Most images uploaded to Drupal should be a JPG. |
| PNG | Graphics, Illustrations | .png images can be saved using 8-bit or 24-bit compression. 8-bit compression is not recommended. 24-bit .png images can have a transparent background and are not compressed. This format will be used occasionally. |
| SVG | Vector artwork | SVG images are used for logos and other line-based imagery. This format will be used rarely. |
| WebP | Photography | WebP is a modern image format offering superior compression; great for web graphics, photos, and transparent images needing small file sizes. Mostly supported in Drupal. |
| GIF | Graphics, Illustrations | .gif images are mainly used for animated content. This will be used rarely. |
