Google Analytics
Requesting Access
Baylor uses Google Analytics (GA) to monitor and analyze traffic to University websites. Individuals from academic units and administrative departments may request access to reports or data. The Digital Marketing Development team may provide raw data, prepared reports, or Google Analytics access depending on the type of need. Please contact Andrew Maddox if you wish to access or utilize website traffic data.
Those requesting direct access to Google Analytics data must acknowledge that they have read and understood Baylor's relevant online legal disclosures and indicate goals for the use of analytics.
The process of provisioning a Google Analytics account may take 2-4 weeks.
Accessing Your Account
- Go to Google Analytics
- Click "Sign In" in the top right-hand corner and select "Analytics."
- Your account is tied to an Organizational G Suite Account, and you must login using your Baylor email address (e.g. bobby_bear@baylor.edu). This is a different account than your Bear ID and will have a different password. It is not our practice to grant other Google accounts (e.g. jon_doe@gmail.com) access to Analytics.
- During the creation of your account, you may receive an email notifying you about the creation of your Google Account and your credentials to access GA.
- Organizational G Suite Accounts may not be shared. Your analytics account may be suspended if we find that you share your account. Other Baylor faculty and staff may request access.
Available Data
The amount of available data is related to the creation date of a Property. Historical data may be limited based on when access is requested.
