CKEditor 5 Upgrade

On January 23, 2024, CKEditor will be upgraded to version 5.

As part of regular updates to the Drupal environment, CKEditor 4 (the text editor used in Drupal) is out of date and no longer supported. Therefore, we are upgrading to version 5. CKEditor 5 brings several improvements and features a slightly different user interface.

Key updates include:

  • Ability to change text alignment.
  • Updated paragraph, heading, and style selections.
  • Improved linking and media handling.

CKEditor 5 has been thoroughly tested and will be deployed on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. You don't need to take any action on the account of this update.
